Stephen Yiu

Stephen is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Blue Whale Capital, a London-based boutique asset management firm. The company was founded in 2016 by Peter Hargreaves and Stephen Yiu. The firm currently manages over £150m in the flagship Blue Whale Growth Fund, a global long-only equity fund, and has delivered top tier performance since inception. Its net annualised return to date is over +18.5%. Prior to that, Stephen worked at Nevsky Capital, Artemis, and New Star (now Janus Henderson), and Hargreaves Lansdown. Born in Hong Kong, he grew up in Singapore before completing his education in the UK. Stephen’s interests include fine wines, skiing, travelling and reading.
