Owner, Felton Road
An early foray as a rock and blues guitarist (failed), moved on to a career as a creative director focussing on large live events, films and special effects, which matured into marketing strategy and brand development. Just before the turn of the millennium, Nigel abandoned the marketing world and purchased land to plant vines in Bannockburn, New Zealand, then added to this in 2000 by acquiring a neighbour: Felton Road, then just 3 vintages old.
Today, he splits his time between the UK and New Zealand. When not engrossed in wine he makes furniture and guitars, and cooks.
