Ryan Pennington

Ryan Pennington serves as Vice President, Communications for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, where his responsibilities include brand communications, organic social media communications, corporate communications, internal communications, community relations, government affairs, and charitable giving. Prior to joining the company Ryan served as Communications Director for the Washington Wine Commission, the marketing agency representing all of the state’s wineries and grape growers. Ryan began his career in public policy, serving as an aide to U.S. Congressman Rick Larsen and Washington Governor Chris Gregoire. He also served as the Washington State Director for the Democratic National Committee during the 2004 U.S. Presidential election. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Western Washington University and has earned the Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
