South African born Chris Mullineux co-owns and manages Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines together with his Californian wife Andrea. As 4-time South African Winery of the Year, their Mullineux winery is focused on bottling wines that express the ancient soils and primal landscape of the Swartland region with class, character and finesse. Their Leeu Passant winery, based in Franschhoek, celebrates the broader South African landscape and culture while integrated into the fine Hospitality offering of Leeu Estates. With a deep love for Wine and degrees in commerce as well as viticulture and oenology, Chris aims to bring a holistic, reasoned viewpoint to all he is involved in.
